Ms. Martin earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Economics at New York University where she also received the Delta Sigma Pi Scholarship Key Award. After a time working on Wall Street, she moved back to her home state of California where she earned her Master’s Degree in Psychology at Pepperdine University. She then worked in the field of psychology as a case manager for those with serious and chronic mental illness at a community mental health center and performed research for the Department of Defense and the CIA as an adjunct associate for The Rand Corporation. She also conducted neuropsychological assessments at UCLA’s Neuropsychiatric Institute and volunteered in administering social psychological experiments at UCLA’s Department of Social Psychology. Ms. Martin went on to earn her Juris Doctorate degree in 2012 from the University of Colorado School of Law in Boulder where she was the President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution student group. Ms. Martin participated in summer studies at Peking University School of Law in Beijing, China. She also volunteered in the University of Colorado’s restorative justice program and interned for the Honorable Norman Hagland at the Denver District Court. She received a six-month judicial fellowship to work with the Honorable Richard Fruin at the Los Angeles Superior Court. During her time at NYU and Pepperdine, Ms. Martin held memberships in the Psi Chi International Honor Society for Psychology, the Alpha Kappa Psi Finance Honorary Society, and the Thompson G. Marsh American Inn of Court. She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2022 and has experience working in the areas of employment law, civil litigation and automobile accident insurance defense. At Fowler Law Group, she specializes in insurance defense litigation of construction defect, products and premises liability, and personal injury.
