Fowler Law Group is seeking an experienced attorney to join our growing litigation team in Los Angeles, California. This opportunity is well suited for an attorney with a strong insurance defense background who enjoys substantive litigation work, values meaningful responsibility, and wants to continue developing as a litigator.

Our firm has extensive experience defending and counseling businesses, insurers, professionals, and public entities. We combine civil litigation, trial advocacy, alternative dispute resolution, and advanced legal research technology to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions tailored to our clients’ needs.

The Opportunity

You will take ownership of matters, work directly with clients, and collaborate with experienced attorneys and experts. Depending on your experience and the needs of each case, your work may span initial case evaluation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, settlement negotiations, mediation, and trial preparation.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution
• Develop case strategies, assess claims and defenses, and help clients evaluate resolution options
• Draft pleadings and motions, manage discovery, and take and defend depositions
• Work with clients, experts, and the litigation team to prepare matters for hearings, mediation, and trial
• Maintain clear client communication and manage deadlines and competing priorities

Qualifications

• Insurance defense experience required; construction defect defense preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage cases independently and exercise sound legal judgment
• Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills
• A practical, strategic approach to litigation and client representation

Work Arrangement

• Primarily in-office in Los Angeles, California
• Hybrid schedule available for qualified candidates
